A small-engine maker that publishes the drawings. The turbine on this page starts in pieces and comes together as you scroll, then spins up to speed.
Each part is made on a separate line and signed off by the person who machined it. On this page they hang apart so you can count them.
Blades seat to within four microns. We do not claim that to sound good. It is why the engine can turn faster than the one it replaces.
At speed the blade tips pass through gas hotter than their own melting point. The metal stays solid because the air film is doing half the work.
Three engine programs. Each one ships with its test data.

A compact power unit that starts cold in seconds.
