Each candle starts as a bare cotton wick. Twelve passes through the vat, a cool rest between each, and the layers build the way bark builds - ring on ring, no mould, no seams.

CandlesPillarsThe one you just watched. Twelve dips, nine hours of burn, one steady flame.
CandlesTapersThinner wicks, fewer passes, a slower evening. Sold in pairs because they always were.
The roomCommissionA diameter, a height, an hour it should go dark by. We work backwards from the evening.
